Default does water or saltwater boil faster

We did this experiment with cold water and cold saltwater 3 trials each and had the results come back that the salt water boils faster almost 50 seconds sooner than the water. I thought that was correct, but according to information on the encyclepedia, that is not true. Can you help?

hi der.....i think i can help u ......c salt water contains carbonated of cdertain impurities which gets sedimentated at d bottom surface of d pot...so it takes much heat to break dat layer on top of bottom part of pot so it takes timeto heat den with water as der is no layer so it wil boil faster may b in ur exp u might taken sum worng readin might b possible.......
