Default Fruit fly help

so i started off thinking that i could put fruit flies in high temperature and some would survive so i could reproduce, but none survived and i couldnt test the next generation on a higher temperature what can i do? Or is their any other project that I could do with fruit flies and heat? I also thought about electricity shock on fruit flies please help me
