Default rainbow

I saw an experiment on "That's so Raven". It involved making a smoking rainbow. I would like to find out how this was done to use as an experiment for my science fair project.

Thanks for your help

Default Well...

Well, that was a TV show. So the "smoking rainbow" which by the way was a complete spectrum of primary colors, was prbably done with visual effects. Also, what grade are you in? If there actually is an experiment with that it might have advanced chemicals in them.

Talking

Satfire, It can be done!! Using different chemicals, when burned at a solid state, it creates different color flames, as well as smoke. How do you think we have smoke bombs????? You could do it, but materials would be hard to obtain and you would need adult supervision. I saw this done by a professional scientist three times, when I was taking a science class based on colors. Look into it, but have a backup plan!!
