Default Stability of Sand and Water Mixture

Hello,

My project is about the stability of a sand and water mixture and finding out
which ratio is the strongest. I just started and I can't think of any ideas of
how to test them I searched on the web and found an article
that uses plexiglass with glass beads in it and water, then use a high speed
camera to capture it. My mom can get her hands on servos and micro controller
and i really want to keep the building to a minimum.
Any ideas would be appreciated

Marshall

Do you mean stick a popsicle stick in a sand mixture and then
seeing at what force will move the stick? That sounds like a good
idea!
