Question 6th Grade Project

Hi All,

I need some ideas for a science project. I like animals and have 2 cats, 2 horses, and a chinchilla. Any ideas on an originial project. I do not have to enter the science fair. I just have to do the project and write a report.

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

Default Why not compare their reaction to external stimuli

You could try comparing how these different animals react to visual stimuli. For example, you could test if they react to silent television programs.

You could also compare how they react to different types of sound - bells, musical instruments etc..

Hello!

Mad Scientist had good ideas.

You can also see whether animals can remember the voice of a particular person. For example, you could read to an animal for thirty minutes every day, and leave the other alone, and when you call, see which one responds to you.

I'm not really great on animals, due to the fact that we're never allowed to use animals in our experiments, but I've always wanted to do something with them.

Have fun! Good luck!

-Alla

Lightbulb Enviroment

You could do something on how freedom effects there regular behavior. What are the similarities and differences between an animal in captivity and an animal that has been emancipated. Make a hypothesis.

I'm an animal lover Too!
