Question Need Help for Kindergartner

My daughter wants to do a science project on collecting rocks... how can I help her and how do we start, other than collect rocks. Is this even considered a science project?

What can we do, in order for her to get a good grade on this project?

I would like to encourage her to do something different, but I looked on the internet and couldn't find anything simple enough for her to do.

Any ideas?

Talking Rocks

She has collected rocks. As a kindergartner, she can only do so much of a research. The only thing that she can do for the fair is Collection. So, after we have collected rocks... how should I display it, so that it looks like a 5 year old did the work?

Cool here's an idea.

The might sound silly but your daughter could show the difrence between the rocks. For example one is smooth and another is not. My friends little brother did that and he got an A- which is still pretty descent cause he's in first grade.
