Cool The Big Dipper

How far away are the stars from each other in the Big Dipper. An apporoximation of the closest star from one another to the farthest star from one another. Thanks, Mr Wknd

Unhappy Mathematical procedure

The distance between the stars in the Big Dipper? Very far away. It is a constallation, so they're not quite as far as some other stars, but it would take years to travel from one to the next. Don't believe me? Well... man's only been to the moon, and a scope has been to mars. I don't know exact times or distances, but I'm pretty sure that it takes months to get to our moon, and close to a year to get to Mars.

You should research distances between plantes in our system 1st. Afterward, research how long it takes to get to the moon and the distance from here to there.
Now, you have a formula. If (for example using small easy numbers) if the moon was 1000000 meters away, and it took 60 days to get there, divide 1000000 by 60, and you'll see how far you can go in one day at the constant speed you researched.
Now, take a look at a diagram of the Milky Way from a further view. Observe how close the planets look, and apply this to your Big Dipper question.

Sad to say that your experiment turns out to be more mathematics this way, but at least it's something.
