Lightbulb Is it possible to create your own IQ test???

So my project is called: Is IQ a really good indicator of school performance?

I have done a ton of research and know that laziness is a big issue. And i know that mostly it is a good indicator. I have done my research and that is sure to impress the judges. But I thought a REALLY GOOD way to ensure excellence was to conduct my very own IQ test for my grade. This way i could compare the class positions to the results and show the judges that it was also a practical that i did.

Problem:
How do i make an IQ test?

Maybe it's just me who isn't any good at surfing the net, but I couldn't find any sites that could help. I was wondering if you could.

minnie30567746 is truly a scientist!
Default well

if you were to try, I would say that you should include at least five questions from reading, 5 from mathematics, 5 from vocabulary, 5 from quantative reasoning, etc. Then , decide what grade level it is most suited for. Give 5 people from the tests grade level the test, 5 people from the grade above the test, and 5 people from the grade below the test.Check their scores. Then see if their age, gender, or grade level affected their score at all.

I think it's allmost impossible to create a IQ test that is actualy accurate, no matter how many questions you include, there will still be more you forgot or didint have room for, It's simply not possible to create any type of accurate study of the sort, such as IQ tests.

There, you have my answer

Deus ex machina is a Latin phrase that refers to an unexpected, artificial, or improbable character, device, or event introduced suddenly in a work of fiction or drama to resolve a situation or untangle a plot. In modern terms the Deus ex machina has also come to describe a person or thing that suddenly arrives and solves a seemingly insoluble difficulty.

you can certainitly put toghether a bunch of questions and call it an IQ test, that doesnt mean its accurate, but its still an IQ test, right?

No, not really. an IQ test is ment to "test" something, right?
You:Yes, duh.
Me: So if it's unnaccurate, will it affect your score?
You: Definitely.
Me: There, you know my view.
