Lightbulb hi

i think an independent variable is one that can spread or do whatever
i think a controlled variable is one you can control

Lightbulb i know what it is!

an independent variable is one that changes throughout the experiment.
a dependent variable is one that changes in response to the independent variable
a controlled variable is one that does not change at all throughout the experiment.

Arrow i think this is what you are looking for....

like daisymay said, there are three variables a independent:the one that changes, the dependent:the one that depends on teh independant variable and a controlled which stays the same throughout the whole experiment.

your independent variable will probably be the type of skin bacteria and which parts of the skin you test it on

your dependent variable will be the appearences of the bacteria

your controlled variable will be the penicillin, the temperature of teh incubator. the amount of nutrient broth, the time that you gave it to incubate... i think you get the idea now.

well GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PROJECT!!!

LUV 2 HELP!
