Talking Suggestions

Well, I don't really know how you will be able to find stressed out people, you might be able to see what can cause the most stress on different types of people(kids, adults, seniors0 Message me to talk about it more.

Cool Motivational stress

I came up with some new ideas for my science project and I just wanted to get some opinions on it for my project I'm kind of having a hard time naming it but this is what it involves I plan to have 5 subjects 4 of my associates and myself, 2 of the subjects will be asked to do 10 questions from English, 10 from science, and 10 from math all within 15 minutes with the reward being 20$ for whoever can finish the most and get the higher score but all the while being oblivious of the time, my other two subjects will do the same thing only without an reward but their motivation will come from a timer i will set on the table their doing their work on so they will basically try to beat the clock, and finally myself I will try to get the highest score possible on the test just for a personal best with a teacher monitoring me and telling me when time is up and the purpose of this will be to measure their pulses and figure out which causes the highest level of stress on the subjects if you know of any way i can improve this I will greatly appreciate it.

Wow this is a VERY interesting project. So basically you have
1) one group racing against each other
2) second group racing against the clock
3) a third group (you) racing against yourself

Hmm, I'm wondering whether you considered the case where fear is used as a "motivating" factor - ie fear of failing or fear of being last. The 3 cases you mentioned could be classified as "positive" or "neutral" in the sense that there is no implied great penalty for losing out - rather the incentive is to beat the others and be the best.

It would seem to me that it would be interesting to compare whether fear of being last causes more stress than desire to be the best. That would add a whole dimension to this project wouldn't it?

Talking I agree

If someone is taking a timed test and sees that someone else has finished, they tend to rush then. I have been actually observing this in my classmates for quite some time( I tend to finish tests quickly) and I have also seen the other of ScienceIsCools points, that some people will go back about three times to make sure they are correct. You could watch like I do and see wether they are rushing or checking, you can also ask after they are done taking the test, to see what they did instead of an educated guess.

Post Sress Project

This may be difficult. The human body is so complex, that you may need to break your experiment down. For Exaample, "How does stress affect the abilitty to take a test? How does stress affect the human appitite?" This may be difficult to study also because you probably should not cause strress to anyone. Talk to your science teacher for ways to improve your idea. This not only gets you great info, but it shows your science teacher that you are commited to your school work and are willing to ask for help!
