Default Psychology Fair Project

I think about doing a project on stress in school and at home. I planning on doing a survey by having having people answers questions on the scale of 1(low stress) to 7(high stress). Is this a good idea and if not could you share some ideas with me?

You have to think of a CONTROLLED experiment. What is your variable? Is it home/school? Is it different grades at school? Different times in school? Different subjects in school? You're on your way. Also, as for questions, what type of questions? Would you ask the person directly are you stressed? Or would you ask them like, could they concentrate? Do they eat lunch?

Good luck!

Huh?! I'm going to ask a group of at least 25 or 40 students using a survey. They will be in 9th to 12th grade.I would ask them questions ,for example, breaking up with your boyfriend/girlfriend is stressful or failing a test. Then they circle the number between 1 to 7. Is that what u mean?

yes, this is what I mean. But you're lacking a control. I mean, what IS your variable? Grades? Do you think different grades will have different stress levels? Gender? Or you can do the survey first, and pick these things out later when you group them.

Good luck!

1-10 says Raven_Lore. 1-7 is wierd because people will be confused on what to put because they will be so accustomed to using 1-10. So I say 1-10 also. It would be a lot easier.

Do you mean the display board? Look that up on google and it will give you pictures of how to set up a display board! And yes, I think you should use construction paper because there isn't a lot else you could do it with!

Thanks!
