Default finding typing speed and accaracy

i am doing a science fair project called does caffeine have an affect on typing speed and accaracy. i am wondering if anyone has any good ideas that would be easy to measure the typing speed and accuracy. i am think of having my participants all type the same paragragh but i have no clue how to time their speed and accuracy

any ideas would help

For speed, you could measure out a distance and have like ten people run it, two each time. Then see what their times are.

For accuracy, you could have like a bow and arrow contest or something that has to do largely with accuracy.

TYPING speed and accuracy. Like with a computer. how do i measure their speed and accuracy of what they type?

You could have a special time to type it, and tell them to not use the delete button. I'm not quite sure really.

I don't know how you would obtain one of these, but there is a program that secretarial interviewers use to measure the typing speed. This will measure how many words per minute the subject can type, basing it on a 4 letter word. Or, you could give the subjects a minute and see how much that they can type.

Why don't you try using a stopwatch? Then after once they're like.. finished typing out the same length of writing or something, check over on what they write, seeing how accurate they are.
