Default advice on how to start project

Well my sciece project is does water type affect the growth of plants
I hypothesize that the rainwater will have the most effective impact on the growth of plants

I need help on the procedure i know that i am going to put the corn in tubes and measure the growth but it seems as if something is missing

Yes, because what do you mean by the type of water? You'll want more than just rainwater, etc. Bottled water, tap water, filter water, and rainwater are different types. But remember that your hypothesis must be supported with reason. Rain water may have more minerals than others. Perhaps the tap water will not benefit the plant with fluoride ions, etc. But you're on your way.

Good luck!
