Unhappy pendulum and magnets and... generators

does anyone have any procedures on how to make a pendulum clock?
i need the procedure on how to make the pendulum part thingy of the clock..
we are planning to make two of those...
then we'll attach a ring magnet on each of the pendulum... then we have another magnet... all in all, we have three magnets.. putting a ring magnet in between the pendulums.. then well swing the pendulums all together in opposite directions.. so that the magnet in the middle would rotate to counteract to achieve equilibrium... but equilibrium is not our goal... we plan to keep the magnet in the middle rotating.. well attach a drive shaft to the middle magnet.. this shaft is connected to the generator.. well, i dont know if it really works... anyone who could help????
