Exclamation Solar Cookers and Catapults!!!

Hi, my name is Kyle and I'm a newbie. For my Project Physics class, I need to build a solar cooker that cooks a hot dog within one hour. The catch is that the projects are judged against each other, so I need a solar cooker that reaches high temperatures, but at a low cost. I have no experience with physics, and won't until next year, because I had College Chemistry this year. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Greatly!

I also need to build a relatively low cost catapult, of any design, that could launch a tennis ball consistently, and far. Again, if I could be steered in the right direction, I'll be fine.
