Default Clouds effects on temperature

Do you think this science project would work out? I'm in the 8th grade and my science project is due February 13th. So I'm not sure if it's going to work because of the dead line but... here:

What I was thinking to do my sci-project on was "Clouds affect on Temperature". On days that are cloudy, are the temperature colder or warmer than days that don't have clouds? And I mean when it's sunny. Because it could still be sunny with clouds, but it could also be sunny with clear sky.

Hyp: I think that the cloudier days might be warmer than the clear sky day because the clouds trap heat in the earth's atmosphere.

And how I'm going to do my project is by: going to weather.com, find the days that are sunny or cloudy for my area. Then check the temperature for it.

Advice? Or any input? Thanks!

sounds like a good idea and i think you have enough time. To get good results take the tempture at the same place, same time each day and take a picture or draw a picture of the sky. You will probably want to do this for at least 10 days.

I agree. Good luck! You might want to take pictures instead of drawing a picture of the clouds everyday. For one, a camera is more convincing. Two, less work!
