Default temperature of yeast

My son has already turned in his idea to test how the temperature of yeast will affect bread. Initially he wanted 5 sep. temps for the yeast but thankfully his teacher got it down to 3 temps. Our plan is to have one package of yeast at room temperature, one in the freezer and one warmed in the oven. Any suggestions about procedures to ensure that our yeast is the correct temp. (how long should we freeze and warm the yeast? and does anyone have a simple recipe to use? Please help ASAP - our time line is lmited! Thanks ! lubencon
