Question Magnetic field trouble PLEASE HELP!!!

I am trying to build a magnetic force field around objects. Like around a souldier base camp, to protect them. Anyway, I cant find any info on magnetic force fields (or magnetic shields). When I type in a serch I get things like magnetic force field around the Earth or this aluminum stuff that reflects a magnets field. Is this a new idea?? Has anyone done this ortried it?? Where should I look???/ HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!! My project is due 3-6-06
