Uhh... could you please post the fuel? I really needed one, but I found a different way to launch, but the info would be good to know.

Hi,
I'm new here and have made some soild rocket fuel. The ones i have made but haven't be able to make enough trust to lift it. For the most part it is easy to make. But still is dangerous so please be careful.

This is the recipe:
100g KNO3, finely powdered
50g cane sugar
30g Karo syrup (corn syrup)

The KNO3 is placed in a pan and heated to 200 degrees in a conventional oven.

This is to keep it from cooling down the sugar syrup too much when it is added.

Warm KNO3 mixes in easier and allows a longer working time.
Sugar and corn syrup are placed in a 1-quart Pyrex measuring pitcher, mixed together, and heated in a microwave oven on "high" until the liquid is perfectly clear.

Heavy shirt, face mask, and gloves are used to make the body more attractive and flame-resistant, just in case.

Sugar syrup is stirred to eliminate any "hot spots." Then the KNO3 added, and everything is stirred vigorously with a wooden spoon. Whilst stirring, mouth of glass container is pointed away from face and other things of importance, just in case.

Here's some links:

Let me know if you are going to make some

Baking soda and vinager are not a sufficient propellant. The chemical reaction does not give off enough energy fast enough to propell a rocket. You can barely explode a soda bottle with baking soda and vinager. No matter how small you make the hole on the valve end of the engine, you will never create enough pressure to move a 1 pound rocket anywhere.

Exclamation bla

Here's a way to make rocket fuel. Use baking soda and vinegar creates a chemical reaction which will launch your rocket into the air.

if ya wonna make a real solid rocket fuel dont use baking soda and vinegar use black powder it really works and its eazy to make

see ya
