Default Upcoming Science Fair---ideas needed

I have a science fair coming in a few weeks (mabey longer, i think). Im in 10th grade, and i just need something that involves using LCDs (of ANY type, llike it does not have to be huge screens, it can be the one used in watches), and a good bit of chemistry, with a result that can be measured with insturments (so, something like length, not how much someone likes something).

Any help would realy be appreciated.

The Newtons and friends were taking tea
Beneath the boughs of an apple tree,
When a falling fruit landed on the
Head of the head of the family.
Mrs. Newton cried, 'Well deary me!
That could've caused an injury'.
But clever Isaac alone could see,
The situation's true gravity.

Try first understanding the chemistry behind it, so first start with research. Try to develop an experiment from there.
