Talking chocolate

ohhhh um. i'm doing basically the same thing with chocolate. you'll need to already have a blood pressure monitor or you need to borrow/buy one. also check w/ your teacher if it's okay b/c you'll be using human subjects.
for short term test you could measure their blood pressure like.... 5 minutes before giving them some form of caffeine that is a also a set amount (probably the constant), 5 minutes after, 10 minutes after, 20 minutes after, etc.
for long term, have them consume a certain amount, which you must identify, each day or so and measure blood pressure at the end of each week. you must also have a control, which would be a person who has not consumed any type of caffeine, and to keep them from doing this you'll probably have to make them sign something.
also note ages and any other factors.
well that's all i can think of at the moment. i'm in ninth grade so i hope you dont mind taking advice from a freshman who's never done this before.

I have had a friend that actually went to the doctors office and helped him with his science project. So maybe you could set up and appointment with a doctor and have some of your recipients come with you so you can do the blood pressure to the most exact that you can. This could work or you buy your own blood pressure gauge and do this all yourself. Your choice.

Cool

Anyway, I think that you should just have coffee, but you have to have the exact same amount each time you test it. That is vital to the projects success! So have people try it, preferably adults because they can take the caffeine much better. Thanks!

Or you could try Jolt. Lol. Twice as much caffeine as in a cup of coffee!

Thumbs up Lmao

Lmao! After I went to the 7-Eleven to get some Jolt last week, I couldn't sleep at all. Jolt tastes really bad though! I can't believe I didn't throw up! So much caffeine! Hehe. I plan on getting MORE this weekend... Hehe...
