Hi there

Hmm. That's a tricky one - cos the concentration (amount of detergent) in, say, one cup could vary from one detergent to another.

I'm thinking it'll be important to try to keep as many factors constants as possible - such as
- total amount of water used
- # of times the water is stirred
- total amount of detergent used
- maybe even limit examination to liquid detergents only (or if you want to compare solid detergents, have 3 categories - liquids and solids where you could compare liquids against liquids, solids against solids, and then finally liquids vs solids.

The main thing will be to try to be as systematic as possible, using measuring cups etc to keep volumes constant.

Hope that helps some.

The Newtons and friends were taking tea
Beneath the boughs of an apple tree,
When a falling fruit landed on the
Head of the head of the family.
Mrs. Newton cried, 'Well deary me!
That could've caused an injury'.
But clever Isaac alone could see,
The situation's true gravity.
