Default And it didn't break?

Was it fluke? Were they able to repeat the experiment?

Head of the head of the family.
Mrs. Newton cried, 'Well deary me!
That could've caused an injury'.
But clever Isaac alone could see,
The situation's true gravity.

what's the "purpose" of this egg-drop experiment? Do you think the age of the egg affects the durability of eggs****?

Not sure about the purpose but regarding the effect of age, I think the answer would be yes. I've seen old eggs in my fridge crack. So I would assume that as they age, their s****s become somewhat more brittle either naturally or else because of corrosive chemicals in an aged egg. Alternatively, it could be due to the build up of pressure due to gases in an aged egg.

Hmm, that would be something interesting to investigate in a science project.
