Default Stalagtites

I am having difficulty making a stalagtite. I have tried baking soda and table salt without much luck. Is there another way to simulate a stalagtite?

Default Stalactite simulation project

there's another way. You will need some magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts), two glasses, a piece of string, and a large plate to catch all the drips. For more instructions go here:
