Default Microbiology

Simply put, microbiology is the study of all things to small to be seen with the naked eye. Amazingly, cells were discovered by Robert Hook while examining a peice of cork. (In the old times, cork was a living thing!) Microbiology is an amazing field and if anyone has any information on it. Please post it here!

Default cool facts

Did you know that the first microscope was invented by Zacharias Jansenn, 400 years ago in Holland, in about the 1595? But the first person to make them was Anton van Leewenhoek and he was able to have them magnify even more?
