Lightbulb Biology- Forensic science

Hey guys
Hope everyone is well!
I am doing a grade 12 biology ISU on biotechnology, in particular forensic science. I wanted to perform a few experiments that I can conduct and draw results from and then put them all into a collective scrapbook as it has to be a hand-in project. My idea is going to be a "who stole the cookie form the cookie jar" theme, where I am going to make up my own crime scene in which someone stole a cookie and then try and discover the suspect. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on some cool experiments in forensics that I could actually be able to do. I am analyzing a hair found at the crime scene with a light microscope and a few other experiments, but other than that i am stumped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that I am on a low budget and it will be hard to find actual forensic equipment.
Thank you guys so much

Arrow using the black light

the person who stole the cookie might have left his or her stain and a ultraviolet or black light will be useful to find stains
for more ideas watch CSI the series in your TV

OH! I love CSI!! Anyways, the person who "stole the cookie" might of left a dirt track of a boot, and you go to your friends and family to match the boot up.
