Wink which covering is better for apples?

which covering is better for apples? Plastic wrap, wax paper, or plastic zip lock bags?

i think that should be the zip lock bags as they allow air inside and thus ensure there's no anaerobic respiration...

I must agree. Bags seem to be the best choice, although I think you should try all of them to be sure.

I think there is a chance that the plastic wrap might respond too. If one wraps it very tightly around the apple, this not only doesn't allow air to enter, but it contains less air alreading inside whereas the ziploc might contain a lot of air already inside of it. But... for know I agree with you that a ziploc is the best choice!

aerobic respiration is in the presence of oxygen like we humans do while anaerobic respiration is in the absence of oxygen which some bacteria do to multiply...

I think ziplock, because you can make it into a vacuum.

Hi there,

Can I know what you mean by "which covering is better for apples?"

It really depends on what you are trying to achieve? Im not sure I understand what you mean by "better".
