Thumbs up Candles

Here is a website about candles. I hope that you can browse through it because i couldnt find anything about white candles melting faster than colored candles. Sorry. Good luck with the project!

Lightbulb suggestion?

Hmmm... I've an idea... Tea candles (the white candles I'm assuming you're talking about) Are just plain wax--they aren't scented. BUT... Those colored/scented candles have a bunch of other stuff in them. The flame probably takes a while because there's extra stuff to burn--stuff that makes that smell when it's burned. That's my guess as to why scented candles take longer to burn dry than the tea candles. Hope that helps.
