Default ozone depletion

I would like to do a science fair project demonstrating the effects of UV radiation on plant growth. My goal is to simulate the effects of ozone depletion. What type of light should I use, where would I purchase it, and how should I vary the amount of UV radiation the plants receive? Is there any easy way to measure UV radiation? I am in 8th grade.
thanks for your help

Well, I'm not excactly sure that this is good for your grade level, but way to go for trying something challenging!
Your best bet would be to research the ozone layer and see what are it's components. Then if possible, create a sort of "mini ozone layer" and the find chemicals and test them on that.
Or, just research the ozone layer and see if you can find what chemicals are most harmful to it and why.

Hope this helps
