Default 4th GRADER NEEDS HELP with Levitating Train

I really want to do a science fair project with a floating object and magnetic force. I like the levitating train. I just don't know how to make it an experiment and not a demonstration. Should I use different trains? I really don't know what to do. I did find a kit for sale for $25.00? Should I do this or have my dad make one. PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU.

Default Hi!!!!!!!!

You could use different trains that have different designs and see which one has the most drag.

Default Magnetic levitating trains

Thanks for the great suggestion Satfire.

Hunter, you should definitely try making the train if you can! Take a look through our forums for discussions on train making... there've been quite a lot of threads on the topic. Let us know if you need more help!
