Default Human Battery

Hello All,

So, it's the end of the school year and I have a 5th grader who's teacher has decided to pull a 'Science Fair' two weeks before the end of the year.

My son and I are a big fan of the movie, 'The Matrix' and have decided to do the science project, 'How to make a Human Battery.' I'm having a hard time finding the materials for this project. Specifically the Copper and Aluminum Plates. The DC Ammeter is on the link for science fair kits and I ordered that today, but where do I find the other stuff??? HELP!!!!

The human battery? That's taking chemical energy (our carbs and fats) into electrical energy. I'm afraid that's impossible, according to the progress of science so far. Perhaps your son should study the battery and different ways to harness energy into electricity. (The matrix is entirely fictional on this.)
