Help for science exhibition project

Mad scientist, plz. i need help for chosing my science project. I want help making a working model which is probably a model of eco -friendly energy, or some-thing like that, which is not VERY complicated, i am in grade 8, please help or tell me what you would prefer making.

That is something more difficult, and i am not to sure it can be easily done.

Building a solar power light might be something to consider.... or using water to collect Hydrogen.

And here is a link on how to bottle hydrogen.... i guess you could make some kind of "engine". Where the battery breaks down the water, the H and O2 are then funneled into some sort of combustion chamber and boom.

I have done that before with varying degrees of success.
Even then tho.. that is not so efficent. It takes a lot of energy to break H2O appart.... and the battery you are using will be wasted quick {9v only last about 10min.} And that can be very dangerous, as Hydrogen is very explosive. So if you do choose that make sure your parent is with you! But you can run a small "engine" off water. But there is a lot of trial and error with this to....

Thanks for the reply, and i guess the links u gave were a little complicated, and i am in grade 8 and don't know much about ampere and solar currents, etc. I guess i would ask you to give me something more simpler and on a topic which u would prefer. I would appreciate if u reply.

I've seen these bowls with fish and live plants that illustrate an ecosystem. It shows how solar energy (from the sun) allows the plants to grow, and then the fish eat the plants. Then there is of course the cycling of the gases -- the plants take up carbon dioxide and release oxygen, and the fish take up oxygen and release carbon dioxide.

sorry if i'm late but i have an idea!

you will need:
- big jar
- soil
-grass seed
-water spray
- worms

1) add about 10 cm thick soil.
2) place seed in and add worms
3) close lid tightly and place the jar where there is sun light...
4) spray twice every day.

see what happens
