nathalia_senna is helpful, nice and has lots of friends here
Unhappy help please? =(

I came up with the idea of figuring out which lip balm is better and testing it on rose petals. My teacher told me I have no way of measuring it. Ive been searching online for a while and heven't found much. I would change my topic but that would lose me 20 points in the final grade. If you know anything I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

minnie30567746 is truly a scientist!
Default well

you can measure the roughness of the petals after using the lip balm. You can also look at the colors to see if there is a pattern of discoloration with using one type instead of another type.

Measuring? You can try to measure the water amount...

Okay, don't give up hope. See if you can get a balance, or something to detect the small changes in weights of the petals. Each day, you can measure the change in the weights. Everyday, it will get drier and drier, losing more water. So just test the different lip balms and then measure.

But just tell you, I'm not sure if the lip balm would have any effect on the rose. It might, it might not. It's a chance you'll have to take.
God grant me the serenity to accept things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I could, and the wisdom to know the difference.
