P.S. Try doing something with why the lights are green and why do they happen.

Default Northern Lights

The northern lights are also called the auora(Sorry about the spelling) They are caused by solar flares from the sun coming in contact with the earth's magnetic field. They show them in movies hat are set in Alaska or places far north.

I only have a limited knowledge of the northern lights, but just some random ideas...

Perhaps you can check how the view of the northern lights differ at different times of the year and how it relates to the earth's axis and position and the sun's position (since the lights are caused by the sun and earth's magnetic fields, right?). Also, what about from different places of the earth, how does the view differ?

Also, why is it green? (Check out the different colors, what's causing them, the different INTENSITY of the lights, does the wavelength change...etc.)

bonne chance! (I would wish there are some more french speakers out there...)
