Exclamation tough one

ok here is a tuffy.... i'm making a project on resonant frequancy but i dont have an ocilator to find the natrel here is the question.....can i manually change the frequancy on a microwave SAFTLY w/out frying myself. and if so will the microwave work? * an ocilalator is a device that you can tune in to the resonance frequancy of an item such as a steel structure and amp up the amplitude, the steel structure will fall apart........not right away but eventually
