heh, I just bought one for fun a few days ago. (from the Discovery Science Center in Santa Anna, California)

The only reason I bought it was to just see what was inside, and to bring back memories when I first got one when i was 7. That is what got me into the whole science thing to.

I found it usefull... and it helped me pass a few hours

I think science kits are great for helping us to understand a basic principle in science. They are really fun too! I grew up with alot of them, and I'm in science now!

Default Science Kits make a difference

That's really nice to know - that you benefited from science kits and found your passion/career/vocation in science, partly because of the interest sparked off by these kits! What sort of kits have you experimented with?

've had lots of fun with my electricity kit! My brother sent it to me for Christmas a looooong time ago

Default thanks for the feedback

I think some of them are cheap too :P

so it's important to get a good kit - I think the Electricity ones are often pretty good/complex....and allow for lots of creativity.

yeah, science kits are useful and sometimes great fun. sometimes the things you need for experimenting aren't available. thats where science kits come in handy. I like the ones which have something to do with light or electricity
