Red face why does baking soda fizzle up in sodas

only in second grade need help right away parents always too busy please

Talking You mean

The fizz? I did an experiment like that a few weeks ago. I used sugar. It is a chemical reaction with the acid and base. The type of flavor in soda acts as an acid, and the baking soda a base.
