Exclamation I need a simple yet impressive project.

My school's science fair is very close and I have to have a project to recieve an Honor's Biology credit. Please help me. I'm starting to get desperate. I am in the 10th grade and it has to have a hypothesis and all other parts of a project.

Hey there

Don't mean to sound tough but unfortunately I doubt you're going to get any help if you don't try to do some thinking of your own. There are tons of projects you can browse and search through to get ideas for. Then once you have an interest, the community may be able to help you. But it's just too difficult (and not right) for others to tell you what to do.

Default Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I am afraid you misunderstood what I am trying to do. I am an Honors student for a good reason. I try. I have been searching for a project for a long time now and I merely hoped to find some help for an idea. I did not ask anyone to do my project for me and I resent being scolded for trying to complete my assignment.

Default Yes

Could you give us a genre of what you are interested in doing? This will make it a lot easier to help you.

Please don't misunderstand :-) No-one is scolding anyone. I was trying to HELP you.

The whole point of this board is to help each other. All I was saying is that very few people (or likely NOBODY) is going to reply to your initial posting because it's way too general.

The way it works is people have an idea of what they want to do, and then ask for some suggestions, guidance, etc. Open ended questions such as "please tell me what to do" just aren't going to get much help simply because they are just too open ended.

All the best in your project.

Default Helping each other

Thanks again Minnie and ScienceIsCool, for taking the iniative to help.

Yes, indeed, we want to help - but need some sort of indication on an area of science that you are interested in before we can help you with suggestions. Of course at the end of the day, we all know that you will need to do your own experiment - and we'd love you to share the results with us too!

But for the idea, do tell, give us an indication of what area of science you are interested in.. eg. gravity, wave motion, microbiology etc..? Anything to help us understand your preferences.

Post RE: Help W/ Project

Have you tried talking to you science teacher? They often are more than willing to help students, exspecially those who try! He/She may have some wonderful input on what your strengths/weaknesses are, which could help you narrow down choices. Also, for what Mad, Minnie, & SciIsCool said, plz tell us what you are interested in. Studies have shown that if you are interested in what you are learning, you grades will improve!
