Smile Egg "Crash" project

Hey wats up guys, as you can tell from my name, I am COMPLETELY science clueless, and I have an egg "crash" project due very SOON and I need some major help on it...any ideas. And I can only use certain materials like popsicle sticks, straws, string, rubberbands, and toothpicks. And we are dropping it from the top of our school stadium. So PLEASE help, I need response Soon...and thanks in advance to everyone that helps

I did this same project. Here. Let me give you a few ideas:

Get toilet paper roll with no toilet paper roll on it. Then, put the egg in. If it doesn't fit, cut open the roll and make it so that it will fit. Put this into a paper cup and stuff the toilet paper that you took off the roll into the cup as support when the egg hits the ground. Put up balloons so it will fall way slower. If you have any more questions, just post another one.

That sounds like a GREAT idea really RaZor...but I can only use certain materials popsicles sticks, straws, toothpicks, cotton balls, and rubberbands, but thanks for your help though

Oh, sorry. Didn't see that. Well, it sort of stinks for you to have to only use those materials. Using only those materials, I'll have to think about an idea before I post it. Expect a reply either later tonight or tomorrow!

EDIT: I suppose you should just try to cover the egg with those materials in a way you think that will keep it from breaking after it hits the ground.
