Well you could do MY 5th grade science fair project ^_^ It was fun for me, and it only my aunt and I two days to do the experiment. It's creating a fire extinguisher using a soda bottle (empty), baking soda, and vinegar. It's useful, and you can test it on a fire :D With an adult around, of course. You could explain how the baking soda and vinegar react with one another.

Very interesting project,
That I must say is a very interesting science project. You could do something that has to do with testing acids and bases. I did something with that in 5th grade.

Here's an Experiment!
Here's a project!!
  • Question/Problem - Is a ___ (breed) dog'smouth cleaner than a humans??
  • Materials -
    1. 20 Bacteria Magnifying Plates
    2. Approximatly 5 grow lamps, (Depending on size)
  • Hypothesis- Example- "I believe that the ____ dog's mouth is cleaner than the human's"
  • Procedure-
    1. Have the human lick the bacteria growing plate.
    2. Have the dog lick the bacteria plate.
    3. Let the plates sit under grrow lights for twenty days
    4. Record daily observations.
    5. Repeat 9 times.

      • Display- Create data graphs and tables.
      • Present- Create a lab report and present!
