Electromagnetic Field Effects on Organsims
For this years project, I thought of testing the effects of an elctromagnetic field on invertebrates such as spider and a spieces of beetle. Also, perhaps plants. Now, I am not certain that the field will have any effect as all i have read has been about effects on cells. Also, I am not sure how I will create the electromagnetic field. Does anyone have any suggestion or thoughts?

First, you might want to research the electromagnectic field, you know, see if you can find out how it reacts to bigger things like planets. Then, once you know how it works and possibly what it's made up of(besides electromagnetism) then you'll have a better chance at re-creating a smaller version of one.

Hope this helps

Yes, well, I did a project on electromagnets last year, although it was fairly basic; I am somewhat familiar with them. I would like to know if there is a specific way I should make the electromagnet and so forth.

This fact might help you decide what animals to use:

certain fish (I believe salmon is one) use the earth's electromagnetic fields to learn how to go back from the sea to the river they were born.
