Surprising

Well, it's alittle surprising that he was number 46 in the countdown, but in the world today that didn't really have an effect, we could go with differnt internet providers or just live without computers(although I could never live without a computer, lol)

Yes

But think about all of the things people do with computers(e.g- cure diseases, make work easier, help students, etc.) SOme people wouldn't be alive without computers.

satfire311 12-19-2005 03:24 PM

I know

Yes, but he didn't creat a computer, he created a computer system. We could go with a different system. But like I said, I couldn't even live without my computer! lol!

Computers help us! I agree with satfire, my life doesn't revolve around my computer, but you could say i get alot of extra help from websites just like this one, and where could i get it other than a computer??? :D

Women vs Men

Well, I had the same question, but think about the last millenium, did women have that much rights or social status? Maybe in the next 1,000 years, someone like Rosa Parks will be on there.
