dying in college need physics project ideas

   I need some serious help. I am a college sophmore and not a science major by choice at all. I have this horrible physics for non science majors class and I have to write a proposal on a physics project with a minimal highschool level. Anyone help...

Yea, the browse and search features will help you find sample projects. Read them and ask yourself what interests you. That's something that only you can help yourself in, really. If nothing really interests you, make a list of what categories *disinterests* you the most. Avoid all of those.

Heehee

I am sure you are not *dying*, but I know what you are talking about. Have you tried anything with gravitational/centrivical force? Maybe doing something with the speed an object spins in relatin to wind and gravitational forces around it?Physics is such a vague topic, can you go into more specific terms?

wisteria 10-31-2005 12:58 AM

or tell us what specific topic on physics you like it will help...

We're here to help!

You've got a little army of Mentors eager to help you find a suitable topic!

But first, you need to give us an indication of what area of physics you're interested in. Forces & Motion? Thermodynamics? Astronomy? As Wisteria said, a good place to start is at the www.all-science-fair-projects.com SEARCH section.

Enter a keyword on anything that interests you and see what pops up.

Try Talking

Try talking to your professor, or maybe you know someone in highschool who could talk to their teacher. Also, Mad and the other mentors have already covered the "What r u interested in" catogory, but it is importent! Why don't you try something about if the position of the moon/sun affects the speed/volocity a ball rools down a hill. That would be interesting!

I agree we're waiting for you to give an intrest... tick tick tick...
