What are science topic are you interested in?

You need to give us a bit of information like what grade you're in and what sort of topic you're interested in. :)

hi Steph

Use the URL wisteria provided to search for oceanography. There are 3 or 4 such projects in the database.

imlikelost 12-29-2005 10:33 AM

...

you could do something about hte ocean floors or the levels of the ocean

satfire311 12-29-2005 10:35 AM

Or...

Or something with the mid-ocean ridge and how it can be used to show when the earth's magnetic field reversed itself.

imlikelost 12-29-2005 10:36 AM

what?

huh? are u like talking bout something else?i couldn't catch what u were saying.lol.

satfire311 12-29-2005 10:39 AM

the mid-ocean ridge.

The mid-ocean ridge is a series of ridges that formed along the ocean floor of the atlantic because of a crack in the earths crust. All of the ridges seem to go in the same direction, except every so often they switched directions. that helped prove that the earth's magnetic field reversed itself once or twice. It's kind of complicated.

imlikelost 12-29-2005 02:08 PM

um

um...ok? lol. You could use colored sands to show the shape and thickness of all the levels.

wisteria 01-01-2006 08:58 PM

or you can do tides or the current patterns...?
