Conducting Electricity - need help with idea

 My 4th grader is entering a Science Fair for the first time. He wants to do an experiment related to the idea of what materials will conduct electricity better. He is especially interested in using fruit. (I don't know why, but there it is.) He's looking for a way to specify and conduct such an experiment that isn't a repeat of something that's been done a lot, but we haven't been able to think of a new twist. Any ideas?

O.k

Well, thats a good idea. If he wants to use fruit, he may want to create a potato battery (There are other fruits/veggies you can use for this too.) If he wants to conduct electricity, you may want to look through the forums and this site under physics k-5 and physis 6-8. Good luck!:star:

ok

ohhh. you could make an orange battery or lemon or a lime one. you could compare them to each other and see which one is the strongest.
