Sticky?

This is also sort of off topic, but what does the STICKY mean at the begining of the thread title??

Well could somebody gimme some info on biotechnology, biochemistry, genetic engineering and clinical research. I just can't choose among these careers for myself coz i'm definitely going for science later.

This means that the thread is stuck. It will stay at the top of the list of threads in this particular forum, regardless of how old this thread is. As for normal (non-sticky) threads, they get pushed down the list as time goes by. :) We should stick threads that are good, meaningful, and well discussed (with lots of substance). Give it a go!

project for microbiology

do mcro organisms effect the plants growth?

first get some soil and bake in the oven until you think the micro organisms have gone. plant a plant in that soil you baked.

Get some soil that hasn't been baked or tampered with. plant a plant in that soil the same time as the other one.

watch which one grows more and determine if microrganisms effect the growth in any way.

p.s. make sure that you water them the same and give them each equal sun light.

Well, not to be rude, but microbiology doewsn't interest me that much at all. It seemes really boring. But if other members like it them maybe Mad could make a forum for it.
