Spider Web structure/application to building a hurricane proof building

omg: :omg: I am the mother of an eleven year old and I am trying to help him w/his topic this year. We have searched the web to obtain information on how to build a hurricane-proof building using the spider web structure and the sites are not helping. We found a lot of information on spider webs but not on using that structure to design a building. We know this is a very complicated topic and need help on how to approach it. We are desperate for guidance!!! Thanks!!!

P.S. We heard that an English architect named Norman Foster designed a building in NYC near Columbus Circle & Central Park that has a spider web in its interior. A search of this architect did not help because no buildings designed by him are in NYC. We sent an e:mail to their office in Berlin (the only one that appears in his firm but nobody has answered).
