Sir Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton, another great scientist in history. By observing and apple drop from a tree, he discovered not actual gravity, but how to prove it mathematically. If anyone has any comments or facts, post them here!

white light
He found that white light wasn't white! He used a simple but effective projects to discover that a rainbow was inside a sun beam.

He put a prism in front of a sun say and a strip of color appeared. He was tight!!!:D

I didn't know he was the one who did that!

That was one of the lesser-known experiments that he performed. but it was one of the best.

I love the study of light and color. Is there a name for it?

Sir Isaac Newton
did the apple fall on his head or just on the ground?

satfire311 12-25-2005 06:51 AM

It fell on the ground. People knew about gravity and that it was there, but they didn't knw why. Newton found out how to prove it mathematically. Also, I don't thin there is a set name for the study of light and color.

im sure there is (i don't know what) there has to be, theres a name for someone who is afraid of doorknobs!
